Getting Started

Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms specialises in complete residential renovation projects across Sydney.

Our work includes kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations, apartment renovations, interior renovations and full home transformations. Depending on the project, we can also manage custom joinery, cabinetry, wardrobes, flooring and other work that forms part of the wider renovation scope.

Our service is best suited to projects that require planning, coordination and professional project management rather than isolated repair or maintenance work.

Our primary focus is complete renovation projects rather than minor repairs, maintenance or simple replacement work.

For example, projects involving only the replacement of kitchen cabinet doors, a benchtop or individual bathroom fixtures may not be suited to our renovation model.

If you are unsure whether your project is a suitable fit, send us a brief description of the work you are considering. The team at Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms can review the general scope and discuss whether it suits the type of projects we undertake.

The first step is to tell us about your property, what you would like to change and the general scope of the renovation you are considering.

During the initial conversation, we discuss your goals, project requirements and budget expectations. This helps us understand whether the project is suitable for our services and whether an in-home consultation is the appropriate next step.

You do not need to have every detail worked out before contacting us.

After receiving your enquiry, the team at Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms will contact you to discuss the proposed renovation in more detail.

The initial conversation helps us understand the property, the work you are considering, your goals and your budget expectations. If the project appears to be a suitable fit, the next step is usually an in-home consultation.

Not every enquiry requires a site visit. If the request relates to maintenance, product information or work outside our primary renovation focus, we will first determine whether the project suits our service model.

No. You do not need to have plans prepared for every product and finish selected before making an inquiry.

It is helpful to have a general idea of what you would like to change and what you want the renovation to achieve.

Detailed selections and project documentation are developed later in the process once the project has progressed through proposal and contract and into the design and planning stage.

Consultations, Quotations, and Proposals

The in-home consultation allows us to understand your ideas, assess the existing property and gather the information needed to prepare an accurate quotation.

Robbie attends the property to inspect the site, discuss your goals and understand the proposed scope and budget expectations.

A site visit is important because renovation projects are rarely identical. Layout, dimensions, access, existing services, site conditions and the proposed scope can all affect what is involved.

Assessing the property in person allows the proposal to be based on the actual project rather than photographs or a general description alone.

Following the in-home consultation and site assessment, Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms prepares a detailed quotation based on the project requirements and proposed scope of work.

The quotation is provided as part of a proposal package designed to help you understand the proposed project, the capabilities of Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms and the renovation process before making a decision.

A detailed quotation is typically prepared within approximately one week of the in-home consultation.

You will have time to review the proposal and ask questions about the project.

If there are parts of the proposed scope that you would like to discuss, these can be reviewed before the project moves towards contract and scheduling.

This stage gives you the opportunity to understand the proposed work, clarify questions and discuss potential changes before the scope is finalised.

Yes. Proposed changes can be discussed during the proposal review stage before the project scope is finalised.

The effect of a change will depend on what is being added, removed or altered. Any revisions need to be considered in the context of the wider renovation so that the final scope accurately reflects the work being agreed.

Once the scope is confirmed, the project can progress towards contract, scheduling and the design and documentation stage.

Design, Documentation, and Selections

The contracted design and documentation stage begins after the project has moved through contract and the required deposit has been paid.

At this stage, clients are introduced to Rebecca, the in-house designer at Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms, who manages the design and documentation process.

This stage is used to work through important project details, finalise selections and prepare the information required before production and construction.

Yes. Once the relevant selections have been finalised, Rebecca prepares photorealistic 3D concepts to help clients visualise the proposed renovation.

Depending on the project, documentation may also include 2D elevation drawings and detailed CAD plans where required for production, installation and project coordination.

More comprehensive interior design assistance, such as extensive colour consultation and broader selection support, can be arranged separately where required and may involve additional fees.

Yes. Practical guidance is available during the selection process, but the final decisions remain with the client.

You will select your preferred fixtures, fittings, materials and finishes. The team at Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms can provide practical recommendations where needed, particularly if a proposed selection may not suit the space, functionality or overall design direction.

For clients who require more extensive interior design assistance, including detailed colour consultation and broader selection support, this can be arranged as an additional service.

No. Clients can make their own product selections and source products independently.

Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms also works with established suppliers and can assist with supplier and delivery coordination as part of the wider project process.

Whichever option you choose, selections need to be confirmed and properly documented so they can be incorporated into project planning, production and construction.

Project Management and Communication

Robbie is the main point of contact throughout the renovation.

This gives clients a clear person to speak with about the project instead of having to coordinate separately with each trade involved.

During the design and documentation stage, clients also communicate with Rebecca about project selections, drawings and design information.

The aim is to keep responsibilities clear while making sure the right people are involved at each stage of the project.

Yes. Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms coordinates the relevant trades and suppliers involved in the agreed renovation scope.

Depending on the project, this may involve different trades completing their work at different stages. Scheduling and coordination are managed as part of the wider renovation process.

The specific trades involved will depend on the project scope and the work required at the property.

Your level of involvement can vary depending on your availability and how closely you prefer to participate.

During design and planning, clients are more involved because feedback, approvals and final selections are required before the project can move forward.
In either case, clients remain involved in important decisions and are kept informed about relevant project developments and upcoming work.

Yes. Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms works with clients who travel frequently or are unable to attend the property regularly during the renovation.

Clients still need to participate in important decisions, selections and approvals during the appropriate stages. Once construction is underway, day-to-day project coordination can be managed on the client’s behalf while relevant progress updates keep them informed

The communication approach can be adapted to the client’s availability and the requirements of the project.

Renovation timelines depend on the size, scope and complexity of the project.

Factors can include design and documentation requirements, client selections, custom manufacturing, product availability, site conditions and the sequence of trades required.

A more accurate project timeframe can be discussed once the scope and requirements of the renovation are understood.

Apartments, Licensing, and Project Protection

Yes. Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms works with apartment owners and can assist with strata requirements, documentation and approval processes where required.

Requirements can vary between apartment buildings and strata schemes, so the specific process needs to be considered in relation to the property and proposed renovation scope.

Yes. Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms is fully licensed and insured for residential renovation work.

Our renovation model also includes the coordination of appropriately licensed trades relevant to the agreed project scope.

Specific licence and insurance information can be provided as part of the appropriate project documentation where required.

The protections that apply will depend on the project scope and the products and materials involved.

Revive Kitchens & Bathrooms provides statutory warranties in accordance with applicable NSW requirements. Home Building Compensation Fund cover is provided where required, and relevant manufacturer warranties apply to eligible products and materials.

The specific protections and documentation relevant to your renovation can be explained as part of the project process.

At the completion stage, the finished work is reviewed and the project moves through the final handover process.
